Yum Yum, Vacherin Mont d'Or

It is the start of the vacherin season and we've got one of the first vacherin's out of the fromagerie and we're having it tonight - you dig a little hole in the middle, fill it with garlic and a bit of white wine and then bake it for 10 minutes and serve it with new potatoes - delicious!

Lily had her first play date today - Julia, a Canadian girl came for lunch with her mum - I met them at one of Lily's nurseries and they seem really nice.

Pia is scooting across the wooden floor on her tummy and giggling - she's nearly, nearly crawling which is exciting.  She is such and easy little baby, just laughs a lot, smiles and giggles with Lily.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend.  We're going to visit a famous Swiss chocolatier in a nearby village who handmakes chocolate for the King of Spain - gorgeous chocolate and apparently his studio is really worth a visit.  Then in the evening we're off ten pin bowling and on Sunday I'm taking Lily to the Circus as a pre-birthday treat.....
