The snow has arrived at 1000 metres

and we can see it all around us on top of the Jura mountains and on the alps - really pretty, especially as we've got this lovely, autumnal sunlight.

We went ten pin bowling last night - great fun and I was hopeless which made it all the more fun.

And today, after church, we're off to the circus - well, just Lily and I for an early birthday treat - she is going to wear her wellies "so the lions don't bite my feet"!

Rolf is home alone with Pia so I guess that means plenty of snoring over lunchtime!
