We drove to Annecy in the pouring rain to meet up with the Hackings for lunch - lovely time but we didn't get to see much of Annecy as the rain was soooo bad. It takes just over an hour to get there and a lot of the Swissy's go there to do their big food shops because it is so much cheaper than here.
