It couldn't be better...

What a gorgeous evening - we pottered down to the marina in Morges for some filet de perche and pommes allumettes - delicious!  Found a waterfront restaurant and just sat back in the beautiful sunshine and watched the sailing regattas on the lake, in full view of Mont Blanc.  There must have been around 60 boats - it was a real picture.

Rolf is in Russia until Wednesday so he missed out!  

Unfortunately we got lost on the way home and ended up taking a very scenic tour of the countryside and got home at 9pm - Pia asleep in the car seat and Lily still pretending she wasn't tired!

Tomorrow morning, Gegi wants to take me to 'the best' butcher in the area so we can stock up on lots of gorgeous things!  and then I think we'll have a quiet day - she and Hubi want to go and collect their wine from a local vineyard and then we'll have something on the BBQ in the evening.

Gegi's been great and helping us with all the admin - signing up with doctors, car insurance and all of that - goodness know what you'd do if you didn't speak French and moved over here, would be very difficult.

It's supposed to be a heatwave tomorrow which will be amazing because the last week has been 30 degrees plus!  Big thunderstorms last night but not directly over us so its still sticky and humid.

Going to soak in a bath now and call a few friends!
