Breakfast like a king..

When I was staying with Lisa and Steve for a few days before we moved out, Steve reminded me of the saying 'Breakfast like a King, lunch like a Prince and supper like a Pauper' - at least I think that's what it was. So when I told Rolf this morning at breakfast, he decided he could have FOUR 'fly by's' the breakfast buffet - maybe a little excessive but probably ok if you do enough exercise (so he's taken Lily for a walk in the park - a gorgeous place just around the corner from the hotel and overlooking the lake).

We're having a quiet day and a rest today. I'm going to take Lily swimming in the pool and then this afternoon we might go for a walk along the lake somewhere to check out some of the beaches and open air swimming pools.

We need to buy Rolf a car this week to replace Margaret - unfortunately the Swiss don't do cheap old bangers (I wonder what happens to cars when they get to this stage?)......

This is a very posh blog Pippy. How on earth did you set it up? I wouldn't have had a clue...you'll have to tell me. Glad you are having fun amongst the chaos of unpacking and that Lily is getting her beauty regime sorted aged 2.5!!!! Lol K J and B xx

Cheap old banger?! How very dare you! Margaret is about to be insured and I'm picking her up on Wednesday... will cherish her and coax her to carry on for a few months yet. Enjoy the sun! xxx

Well done for the blog. Realy enjoying it. Any snow capped mountain you can see from your bedroom window sounds like a beautiful view. I'm looking at the burnt out house at the back of our garden from where I'm sitting.... you will know the one. missing you terribly, especially at 7pm... Darcey has no one to compete with in the screaming stakes at bedtime anymore. It's very quiet!
lots of love C, J and D xxxx

You are just to with-it, having your very own blog-spot. It is lovely to hear how you are all getting on, and even though we do have our very own UK sunshine today, it can't be half as beautiful here as it is with you. Bill and I spent a wonderful 5 days up in Scotland last week, so we have had sight of mountains but alas it was not quite as warm as it is with you. But at least it didn't rain all the time.

Looking forward to catching up soon, and very sorry that we'll not be seeing you on the 12th. lol C&B
