Smashing Weekend

What a great weekend.  Fantastic weather.  Shopping yesterday in a huge outlet place near Geneva then home for lunch and Fran looked after the girls so we could have some time in Morges - bought a few Christmas pressies and then home for tea.  Last night we ate out in an auberge in Tartegin with Danica and Rob - a lovely couple we met at a wine tasting.  She's from Michigan and he's English and runs a POS company over here - we like them alot and she's inspired me to go cross country skiing - only 100 Swiss Francs for a ski pass and only 20 minutes away from home - in fact we went there today (see photo above), a small place called St George with the most glorious snow plateau, surrounded by forest..... watch this space for photos of me getting fit!

This morning we launched creche at church and it was such great fun - the kids adored it and we had a big laugh, really happy that went well.

Rosi and Tris with their 3 joined us up at St George this afternoon and we all went back to theirs for hot cholcolate and kids tea - really lovely.

Back tonight and just tucked into a fondue with Fran - and now and early night.

Busy week - Rolf goes to the UK for two nights on Tuesday, two French classes, Morges Christmas market on Wednesday.....
