Just back from the UK....

Visiting my sister and her boys with my girls!  I'm glad I braved it, in fact both the girls were little angels, it was just the hassle of getting through the airport on my own and now I am completely shattered and in need of much sleep!

Anyway, whilst we were there, Lily decorated Kym's tree for her and it was lovely!  She came home and told Rolf all about it....

We did some shopping, pottered around and met up with a few people.  Rolf picked us up from the airport and I came home to a gorgeous meal of osso bucco!

The snow has almost gone from around the house but we're expecting more this weekend.

I've just popped out to get the girls some beach shoes for our holiday - we leave on January 3rd for 3 weeks and can't wait;  www.houseonthebeach.co.uk

And tonight we have to get ourselves organised and email our shopping list to the owners etc. - can't believe we're doing that when we haven't even got Christmas sorted yet!

Rolf had his Christmas party last night and had to go in fancy dress - something beginning with 'C'.  He went in a tux with a Nespresso coffee cup - as Clooney, George Clooney - what a cop out - but he sneaked home by midnight so that was good.

Both the girls are full of cold and sleeping isn't great for them - seems to be the way out here, lots of microclimates and lots of bugs in the air...

Anyway, we're signed up for a new nursery in February - just one afternoon a week and she'll continue to go to Rikiko.
