Cultural Awareness

So, I've finally had my 3 hours cultural awareness session courtesy of Cadbury's - I have to say, very interesting and wish I had done it earlier.  Learnt quite alot about how to get it right with the Swiss which might have helped me earlier on in life too!

Obviously I can't publish my interpretation of what I learnt!

We picked up Fran, our new au pair, on Saturday and she's gone down a treat with Lily.  So much so that I get asked to 'stay upstairs please' when she goes downstairs to find Fran!

And we've all got funny coughs and tight chests because of the odd weather at the moment - it goes from 16 degrees one day to 3 the next and so on and I think that's why everyone has funny colds the whole time.  Hey ho.

Very excited, we've got lots of visitors coming over the next month - Lynn from our homegroup back in Barnes for a night, Allie from South Africa for a week and then David for nearly a week - we can't wait!

Pia's first tooth has finally appeared and she's crawling all over the place which is fun!

Off to Aubonne to meet a friend now before picking up Lily from Bambi and then I think a quiet afternoon because we were all up in the night with various goings on.....!
