been up to all sorts recently...

Had a lovely week at the beginning of May in the UK; stayed with mum and dad for a while; left the girls for the weekend whilst we came up to London to Catherine and Jonathan's gorgeous wedding; stayed with Susie and Hugh; had lunch at Lisa and Steve's; had breakfast a deux on Sunday which was a treat; supper with some colleagues from Stopgap; shopping in Richmond; then down to Devon to stay at Bill's cottage - lovely as always; and then back to Switzerland where the weather was frankly alot better!  Then Michael came for a week which is always a treat and Lou joined us for the weekend which was just lovely; we packed loads in; market; Morges; Gruyere; fabulous hilltop bar in Chexbres which gave wonderful views over the alps and lake; dinner at a lovely restaurant in Cully - fabulous food; walks along the lake in St Prex; too many pastries at the patisserie...... and now preparing for our house move!
